Atypical moles, also known as dysplastic nevi, are irregularly shaped moles that may be larger than normal, with uneven borders and multiple colours.

Atypical mole treatment

I promote self-skin checks but can also arrange regular skin checks to monitor any changes in atypical moles.

If a mole shows signs of concern, I perform biopsies and may recommend surgical removal for further evaluation. Early detection and removal are key to preventing potential skin cancer development.

If you suspect any of the above, contact your GP, or book a private consultation with me for further evaluation and treatment.
